Light  Sculptures and Installations

“One day in the 2015 the leading Russian Art curator Vitally Patsukov visited my London’s studio and suggested to take part in the Moscow’s Biennale of Light and Sound. It was unusual and tempting suggestion. But the problem was – I have never worked with light. Next day I bought from the DIY shop some bulbs, tools, cables and embarked into a new journey with new techniques and materials. It was a difficult task. The mission almost impossible. Until suddenly somebody knocked at my door. It was my cousin, Vladimir Grigorik. We never met before. He found my name online. And it happened he was a founder and owner of GVA- lighting company in Toronto. Furthermore he was an Art collector. And after that magic reuniting family event the collaboration between us had begun – I use GVA light units in my light sculptures and installations. Additionally there is a biggest collection of my artworks now in Toronto.”
